The Capricorn New Moon sets to our skies on December 30th, and with it comes the push we need to get clear on our Vision, establish long-term goals, and the drive to pursue the tasks at hand.

New Moons have always been the ideal time to call in manifestations—the renewal of a fresh moon cycle is a renewal for ourselves as well. Capricorn rules stability, structure, prosperity, dedication, drive, long-term goals, staying power, hard work, systems, and routine. It’s the “father-figure” of the zodiac, ruled by Saturn, the planet of responsibility, discipline, and karma. Being the eldest Earth sign of the zodiac, they’re the sign most often attributed to material success, financial abundance, and the traditional sense of achievement.

That’s why it’s no coincidence that we create our New Year’s Resolutions during Capricorn season, within the most heightened days of the New Moon’s energy.
